This is a glitch which effects the plane view screen, and the new 3dz's.

Only the original 3dz's are displaying, but none of the new ones [D and on] are displayed. The same is happening in the arming board, only the old 3dz's are shown.

I suspect Ray's Cat will suffer from the same issue, as he used all the new 3dz's too.

There must be a bit of code missing, which is stopping the new 3dz's being viewed on the weapons load screen.

Not an urgent problem.

1. Which version of 1.29 are you using.
2. Are you referring to the inflight F9 view screen, or the "View planes" system?

If it OK in the game I will not be rushing into fixing it as I am supposedly not programming for a few days, especially as visitors are due to arrive tonight.

Hi Tony. This had me head scratching for a day or so, because I use the "View planes" system, as it loads quickly, to see what I'm working on.

I'm using the 1.29 Basic set, which you set me. It has 3 Glide 1.29 exe's in it, and the glitch is on all of them, so I guess it's on all the current exe's.

This effects the Arming board too, in the same way.

There's no rush to fix this, so you have your down time, and just put it on the list of things to do, when and if.

I'll post a few screens later to show you the problem.

Hi Tony.

You've fixed the Aircraft view, and loadout screens, so the model now displays fully.

The loadout is still showing a pixelated skin.

This skin problem is probably left over from the original 24bit BMP conversion, Allen and I did, way back.

Do not forget that the 8-bit loadout screen cannot display BMP files.
They can only be use in the game in d3d or glide3

Just those nice skins, look very shabby, all pixelated.

Still, I hope you update your code base, as my copy of 1.40 has the same bug.

Doesn't the loadout screen use the 8-bit mex.pcx/tpc for the view? If so, a bmp won't work like Jel says and are still necessary.
