New DLC came out today, 2 operators are nice, and the new Afgan map is nice...

but as typical with todays shooters, micro-transaction greed turn a nice military themed shooter to a clown shooter...sad but true.

(love the new portable gun shield, takes a ridiculous amount of damage...)

I tend to stay away from any sort of console for that reason. I think they’re geared towards kids and dudebros who don't really care about "realism" or "simulation".

Consoles are great for connecting with people and kicking coopass. I've met some great people on my console including Mags, Leemz, Jeevz, PositiveG, Coot, Top Gun, Raw Kryptonite, dude163, Grim_Death, Sinner(?) and the list goes on, my memory not so much

I don't get it. The make a somewhat hardcore military/tactical sim and then they add these idiotic little charms and horrific weapon skins for what purpose? To attract the Pokemon crowd? Seriously, WTF?!

I don't want to play a game where I'm going to see a teammate or an enemy with a weapon that has those skins on it. Talk about an immersion breaker. OMG.

one reason... greed... those aren't free... micro-transactions, and unfortunuily, just read Battlefield 1 will have them too.

sad days for gaming imo.

Maybe I'm in the minority but, I honestly don't mind micro-transactions. It's the crap that they're offering that I have a problem with. That is just awful.

I mean, there are countless dozens of skins to unlock in BF4 and NONE of them are as idiotic looking as the stuff they're offering here. I just don't get it. The game is clearly not aimed at 6 year olds, so why offer skins that look like something only a 6 year old girl would like? The problem is, grown men will use them just to be a douche.

I've been so looking for an excuse to buy this game and now this comes along. Ugh.

it's a awesome... different...game... wish the gamer could force default skins, no clown suits in their view...would be OK with that.
