The skin I use is the one Captain Kurt did for me.
It has the correct markings of my brother's aircraft.
Bill was reasonably happy with what he saw when I demonstrated EAW for him, but he was nearly blind at the time with macular degeneration.

Jel,

I've had hit or miss luck with CFS 2 textures so I was uncertain as to how it would present but it didn't come out half bad if I do say so myself:

I'll send you a copy by e-mail so you can start using it and of course, it's included in the plane package I'm working on.

I am running a little behind on trying out the new inventory set up since I got off in the weeds with the Fairey Battle / Fulmar fixes. I have a few biplane flight models to finish and then I will get started on the new system.

Thanks Ray

I am looking at the bomb release code to try to modify the rate of fall for the parachutes.

Tony, the new mount looks good in action.

You all should know that the TBF and the Corsair make a fitting combo as they're both tribute models.

You see, the Corsair is done up in the marking of my best friend's father's mount. He flew the F4u at Guadalcanal. He passed away just about when SPAW was to be issued so I modified the skin to represent his plane.

Heck, even paranoids have enemies.

Bill told me that he always felt safer when the Corsairs were around. He had little faith in the Seafires.
Late in the war they got Fireflies, and I remember them as a kid. What is now Manchester Airport was Ringway, and the Fairey Aviation factory was there. It was only about 5 miles away, so I used to bike ride there to see the aircraft.
By that time the Fireflies were bright red because they were used as target tugs. The Gannet was interesting with its double propellor smile
Not far away was Woodford from where AVROs delivered their planes to Bomber Command. I never saw Lancasters, but I saw Lincolns and of course the Vulcan and its smaller delta winged cousin.
The Americans were still at Burtonwood, so I saw lots of their heavies when I was a bit older and could ride my bike there.

wink

Hi Tony,

Yes I can remember the Fairey Hangar at Ringway when I was a lad might even have an old B&W photo with it showing. My nearest RAF Base was Church Fenton and I remember going by train for an air display - 4 minute warning take-off by Vulcans was noisy. What is now Leeds/Bradford airport was about 20 miles from my house - it was called Yeadon in those days - and I remember one day hearing a jet which was unusual as it was normally Daks so I went into the garden and watched a stream of USAF planes flying past - apparently they were doing an air display and turning over my street under fairly low cloud - I was about 900ft ASL. I can remember seeing F100, F101 and B47, possibly a few others - I guess this would have been mid to late 1950's.

Pete

A slit trench at RAF Gravesend
Now all we want is a "sinking" sequence, like the parachute opening sequence behindcouch

I have a kind of sinking sequence in 140, provided that the ship is mot a multi TMod collection.
The ship displays the damage model for a while, then disappears leaving a burning pool of oil.

I did it with a timer that set the view distance to zero.
I had tried setting the height to a negative number, but it still rendered below the sea frown
