Neat. Where are you putting it? That looks like a storage barn in the 2nd photo.

Not bad looking for a 40 year old fiberglass boat. Why the bungee cord for the steering wheel?
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Is it convention for boats in the US (or elsewhere) to have the wheel on the 'wrong' side? Think it has been so for many centuries, my UK built boats all had the wheel on the STARBOARD side. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_and_starboard

Not bad looking for a 40 year old fiberglass boat. Why the bungee cord for the steering wheel? The bungee keeps the stern drive from flopping around while trailering it. Those old Larsens were decent boats, just hope you had the stringers and transom inspected and that they're not rotted. Let us know how she does once you get her in the water.

Wow, that's nice! I'm with RK, looks to be in very good condition. Sure beats the crap out of what I go fishing in (40 hp on a 16 footer)... Although I prefer when we take out the canoe as you get a buttload of exercise. I'm about to get into some kayaking as well (all courtesy of my father).

Ah, the second happiest day in a boat owner's life - when he buys it. Seriously, looks like she's in great shape.

Of course for me it's about the fishing, not so much the kayaking. I would like to try camping along with kayaking and fishing though.

Looks a lot like the boat we had when I was growing up, except it was an outboard motor and there were no seats in the rear. Just the back-to-back fore and aft seats in the main area and the two benches up front. Ours also had a LOT less padding. That one's in great condition, though. Ours looked 10x worse 25 years ago than that one does today! The Jedi Master
