I predict they'll wait until episode 4 -ish with the big Jon "Snow" reveal. Also, I'm curious how they proceed with the Sam Tarly storyline. The way it's presented in the books, I assumed his journey to become a Maester was more important than to be a mere detraction, especially the mysterious person he runs into along the way (Dance with Dragons). And welcome back, Razorback!

I thought Brienne was going to burst into tears when she heard Sansa recite the formalities.
Brienne and Pod are probably two of the least complicated characters in the series. They both want only to serve, but they've searched long and far for someone worthy of that service. Pod found his in Brienne, perhaps Brienne finally has hers as well.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to see more of Dr. Bashir. His untimely death makes the character a little redundant, and the IMO excellent actor that Alexander Siddig undoubtedly is under-used. And of course Melisandre had to spoil the end of the season with pretty much her first sentence. [at least it would be highly plausible to assume as much]

The Sand Snakes are some of the worst acted characters in the TV series. Doran and his bodyguard were the only remaining interesting characters of that plot and, of course, they needed to be dealt with immediately.

I'm wondering if we're to see a war with Dorne now.

I like how things are going in Dorne. Killer mom and the girls are interesting characters, I hope we learn more about them.

HA! Everybody said it could not happen. Impossible. It is in the books. It has been written. But TV shows do not work like that. If a character brings in ratings, it is usually re-written so that it can linger longer in the plot, or even be resurrected. If this is true, Ian McShane basically confirmed that his character is involved in bringing back The Hound back to health. http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/11/game-of-thrones-ian-mcshane-the-hound-returnsThis will probably be incorporated in the new book to make it canon. This is a new phase for George R.R. ... he not only kills characters by the ton. He now resurrects them by the boatload.

All in all, a great feminist episode for a change.... women took charge and controlled their own destiny... Only Deaneris seemed a bit duped at the end but I am sure she have some resourceful help from her flying babies to rule over this new khal in few episodes.

Except the Hound in all likelihood was resurrected by GRRM in "A Feast of Crows". There are strong suggestions about it. This is one of the many subplots the TV show is missing.

Welp...episode 2.5 resurrection. And a little underwhelming too. I did not fall for that suspense moment for one bit. This episode had soooo much in it, felt a little crammed. Liked: Mountain Smash & Wun Wun Smash. High Sparrow's Huevos Rancheros Tyrion: Dragon Whisperer Davos: Motivational Speaker Willis?... Hodor! Not Liked: Ramsey keeps trying to outdo Joffrey as the most hated character. And he is winning convincingly. Duuuude! Tommen... what a waste of a good crown.

There was nothing wrong with Joffrey - he just suffered from affluenza!
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Tommen was never going to be king, so he received little in the way of instruction. I hate that Myrcella was killed off just as she was proving to be actually interesting. If they'd killed her off an episode or two earlier, fine, she was one-dimensionally boring. Then they reveal depth in the very scene they kill her! Argh! Well, at least you didn't have time to get attached to her...

A little disappointed they decided to bring Jon back via Red-God-necromancy. I'd rather they'd done it Targaryen style with a pyre like with Daenerys, with Jon stepping out of the flames, burning Longclaw in hand. [They probably blew most of the budget earmarked for the episode on the Dragons, so no fancy CGI funeral pyre resurrection. ]

Thinking about it, on his way out of the chamber to join the others in the courtyard, Jon could still slip on the stairs and break his neck. Then, when they finally do put him on a pyre, he could arise as Azor Ahai (to make Mel happy) and Jon Targaryen (to make the L+R=J crowd happy).

Starting with the Wildlings seeing him walking again and kill him on the spot for being a wight. However, there is also precedent of other characters being brought back by red priests several times, so even if he is killed again, Melisandre will just give him another beard trim and bring him back again.

Yeah, but the way the Red Priests(esses) do it, they got to keep all their wounds*. And Jon would look extremely silly with a floppy dangling head from a broken neck, now wouldn't he? *[See Beric Dondarrion and Lady Stoneheart]

She wasn't exactly confident about that process and said she'd only seen it done. It's possible he came back by his own means somehow, or something else entirely. That white walker general guy was really keeping an eye on him when he spotted him before, he may have seen something in him.
