Good question smile

I have added a "Fill blanks" button to the Planeset Maker and a "Dummy" planes folder containing a Dummy skin and a dummy FM folder.
The latter has a "plane.dat" file in which is has no nationality and is not flyable.

I selected them first and filled the entire grid with the dummy folder paths.

Then I went to another planes folder, and selected the P51D, the spitfire, the 190A and the Me110

The files were saved in the "planeset1" folder inside the "4planes" theatre folder, for which I have built a "dir.set" file.

So the answer is "Yes!" smile

To make more missions possible I reloaded the files, added a B17 and a He111 and saved them in a planeset2 folder

If this is the sort of thing you want to do then the "Fill blanks" button is really time saving smile

Edit:
If you have been following the "Aircraft repository" thread there is now a "AIUpdate.exe" 7-zip in the download folder.
Getting it, and running it in the "140Multiplayerl2016" folder will give you version 4 of the planeset maker (with the "Fill blanks" button), and add the "Dummy" planes folder to the "Aircraft_Inventory" folder smile

I'm finishing up a mid '30's Mediterranean plane set composed mostly of bi-planes. I can only come up with about 9 - 10 planes per side and I wasn't sure what I was going to do. This helps.

Heck, even paranoids have enemies.

I have just been enjoying myself with this new toy smile

Inside the "4planes" theatre folder I made a "DummyPS" folder which has "FMDir.set" and "PDir.set" files in it which have the dummy skin and dummy FM in all 30 slots.
I also made an empty "Planeset3" folder.
Using the editor I load the two files from the "DummyPS" folder, put planes in which ever slots I feel like, and then save the files in the "Planeset3" folder.

I leave the editor running and fly using the "4planes" theatre and planeset3 selected by the DSP.
After the mission I go back and select different planes, re-save the "FMDir.set" and "PDir.set" files, and fly again.

Given that we can have up to 20 plansets there are enormous possibilities smile

wink
