This is small stuff compared to what I'm reading about but for some reason my mouse moves in fits on all the menu screens..It's playable and in game works fine as a camera control Just on the menu it lags and takes a bit to make selections..This is on 1.28,,1.29,,1.40 and the latest of Tony's uploads...Not game breaking just wondering if this ever popped up before.Thanks

I think that you are getting the 7217 workaround side effect, which is infinitely better than the 7217 error
If the conditions are right to give the 7217 error in EAW 1.2 then in the later versions the workaround code kicks in and avoids it. The drawback is stuttery mouse movements on selection screens, especially in full screen mode.
Are you using a windower, and which operating system are you running?

Yeah Tony tried a base 1.2 and got the 7217 error gave up on that puppy ....Running win 7.....Not using the windower.I'll try it out and see if I get the same thing..Anyway it's just an aggravation as the game flies sweet I can live with it


OK Tony You got it!!! d3d windower and it's smooth running at 1280 x 1024 and it's full screen ..Tried the dirset picker but when the game started the EAW was jerky...So as far as I can see I pick what I want to fly in the dir set pick and exit the game and run EAW tghrough the windower and all is sweet....Guess I'll set all the installs up now ..Thank you for the advice!!
