DS3 has terrific artwork and atmosphere:

I'm hearing so much good stuff about it! If you had to compare it to past games, what does it play like? Diablo? World of Warcraft?

Not my type of game to be honest but it looks great! I love those dark sceneries.

Yeah, that last pic looks like they just finished a big musical number.

I guess you can think of it as a sort of first person Diablo, it has bosses, and respawn when you die, and a central hub, but with the attacking skill needed much more in depth and much more difficult, also you die alot but it's no big deal :-)

You might want to check out a let's play on youtube of DS3 or one of the previous titles to see if it's something you are interested in.
