Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Just got Adr1ft a space survival game where you play the part of an astronaut on a space station that has just had a serious accident and it is up to you, as the sole survivor, to repair the station so you can survive to be rescued.

Views are spectacular and I would love to see this through an Oculus

Wow, hadn't seen or heard anything about this. Looks great!

It says 28th March, so is it out yet? ( Though no pressure as I just got an email from OR saying mine is delayed... )

Yep it is out, had a couple of hours in to it, so busy looking for oxygen refills havn't had time to stare at the view...

The game control is simple but trying to survive... I've died a few times especially when stopping to look at the view.

There was a large update over the weekend that allows you to go back through and replay a "level" without worrying about oxygen just so you can be the tourist in space smile

It works on no Oculus PCs too and you do get the option to install both.

LOL, theres nothing like a lack of oxygen to keep you mission focussed!

It does look very cool and "should" look amazing in VR, heres hoping.

Do you get a good feeling of weightlessness?

Yeah, using your thrusters on your suit also uses your oxygen... how fast do you want to fly?

Once your thruster switches off you keep drifting in the your last direction, unless you hit something then you bounce off it and it off you and now you have a new vector and most likely cracks appearing in your helmet... oops

You start with a suit leak and limited oxygen storeage hence the laser like focus on finding the next bottle of O2. Once you complete restarting one of the cores you repair your suit and oxygen system and you can breathe for longer and go for longer trips, One of the cores you have to repair should restore your thrusters back to normal and not use your O2 supply, not done that one yet but at least I am now able to travel between the bits of wreckage without worrying too much about not breathing smile
