.... but it was taken running EAW 1.29 with 640x480 selection screens and the theatre was Ray's new ETO target set.
It is the culmination of a project I started recently when Moggy was getting some theatres that he has on hid HDD to run in 1.28c.
This 1.29 exe has a few things from 140 added, and I am running it in a folder that allows me to run a range of 640x480 screen exes smile
The convoy in the picture is running on invisible railway lines, something Istarted in 1.29, and developed even further in 1.40

At this stage a vey big thankyou to Crashin' Jack who painstakingly documented the changes to the 1.28 code when he made the 1024x768 screen version of 1.28D. He "remmed out" the original lines and left them in, and added a "cj" comment at the end of his new lines. Those lines are still in the code, and that has made it possible for me to find them and reverse the processes in order to make 640x480 versions of 1.28e, 1.28f and the old map version of 1.29.

I have been flying old theatres like Moggy's original Midway with their original screens smile

wink Jel

How you doing with views other than forward on these new exes?

On my system the stock v1.2 game at 640x480 displays the cockpit dash in every view I switch too. But its clearly changing views.
