Tempest truck interdiction to Trieste 1945
On our way:

We trashed the convoy but I got elevator damage which made dogfighting impossible. So I headed back to base and watched Shogun chase a 110G on F9:

The result:

Next mission nearly ready smile

Not sure if I haved ask this before, but does the game have "Join In Progress" ability?

Also, does it have an Automated Server, where anyone can fly online whenever?

If a game has been launched from the parameters screen then no new players can join it unless it is a free for all.
GameRanger is running all the time. The host creates a room.

Jel,

Just wondering if any problems were encountered by the "wall". Trieste isn't too far from the edge of the EAW MAP.

If this becomes a popular targets I might have to put together an Italian vs Allies ETO planeset.

No wall problem with Trieste, for both allied and axis missions. However, there are not too many targets in range, so multiplayer needs airstarted missions.

Game on again at GameRanger, checking V82 in dd with the new dll smile

For anyone with a good download speed who wants the complete "140Module" download in a single file there is now a "140ModuleAll_in_one" d/l on the download page at OneDrive. No patches or updates needed.

http://1drv.ms/1PTmXMT

It is a 720 megabyte file.

Mediterranean PS4:
Tonight's first mission difficult a torpedo strike on a German convoy from the Ark Royal. We flew TBFs and set a groundstart so we took off frpm the carrier.
I just got the torpedo away before I ditched and sank a transport. The others got shot to bits by the AAA.

Not much to report for you. We were testing the new exe, some "*.con" files and a new EAW_RRD.DAT file and not testing aircraft. Multiplayer games take time, they are played for enjoyment, so it is not easy to test a large variety of aircraft this way. Players tend to use their particular favourite aircraft too wink
In multiplayer you make your personal aircraft selection on the parameters screen, so you can cycle from one to the next until you make your choice. I did note that with planeset 4 none of the allied planes I cycled through gave me the option of choosing rockets, which I wanted to try versus the patrol boats.
On previous occasions we have not enjoyed the Beaufighter's FM, finding it a bit unresponsive, a bit like the 1.2 Tiffy was. However, it may well be accurate smile

That was really just a reminder as you enjoy the game. I guess I could have left off the exclamation points.

Not sure what's up with the rockets as I didn't put rockets on ANY of the planes in ANY of the new planesets because I'm not sure how historically accurate they would be in the Med, especially the earlier years. I don't have a problem if you add them in.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure I pulled the Beaufighter flight model right out of SPAW. Maybe someone would try a SPAW Beau mission and then switch to the Beau in the Med to compare.
