Whenever I've played that with the Oculus DK2 (it's implemented really well for VR) my neighbours must have been wondering what the hell was going on in our house with those high pitched screams of terror. I should probably leave notes in their mailboxes to reassure them :p

I've been eyeballing this one for awhile. How do you like it? I enjoy Alien Isolation so maybe I could handle this lol? behindcouch

I´d say it is less scary then Alien Isolation and less polished.. but it has it´s very own charm. It´s casual but the fact that you can´t save makes it quite tense. The outside of the ship and all special rooms like the bridge and I think some stairwells remain the same but the rest seems to be procedural generated, so it has high replayability and that is kind of the main point. You also get one of 3 foes randomly selected for you, from dumb and relativly easy to mean.

I´m not a horror guy at all (save for allien, I still have crush on sigorney weaver for that movie ;=) ) but this kind of appeals for me

Yep, I agree with the Dr, and I would add that in VR Monstrum is quite intense because it doesn't take long before you're confronted with something running after you or jumping at you, while Alien Isolation has these long phases where you don't need to be in a hurry.
