Would anyone care to take a crack at building a few landmarks? There are a few that would be nice to have, that would greatly aid navigation, as well as adding to ambience. I am thinking of the cathedrals at Reims and St Quentin, the ruins of the abbey at Mont St Eloi, and a couple of the great castles

We will remember them.

Way beyond my skills as well, but can I add the forts around the border cities to the list (unless they are already there, of course).

MACHINE GUN FIRE: CAMBRIN by ROBERT GRAVES (September 25 1915)

The torn line wavers, breaks, and falls. 'Get up, come on!' the captain calls 'Get up, the Welsh, and on we go!' (Christ, that my lads should fail me so!) A dying boy grinned up and said: 'The whole damned company, sir; it's dead.' 'Come on! Cowards!' bawled the captain, then Fell killed, among his writhing men.

I can't be of any help other than offer encouragement! Great idea, I think.

Of course, let the begging begin! Sint Medarduskerk, in Wervik, Belgium. Seen in this famous photo:

Here's how it looks in a photo I took in 2004:

What is needed for this project is a "GMAX" expert to create the buildings. Getting them into the sim is not that difficult but will be somewhat time consuming for the adventurous candidate who will have to have some skill with building "facilities"

There are already some landmarks, for example 'lakenhalle' i.e.famous clothhall of ieper/ypres and St. Martin's cathedral...OBD might add some more with WOFF V. 3 ?
