after many years of building, im trying to take a moment to actually use the hardware instead of building.

handmade sequential shifter, handmade cyclic, handmade collective, handmade torque pedals, g27 inverted pedals, thrustmaster warthog, custom flight button box.

missing final hardware component - oculus rift / apr 2016

i hope my pics & build inspire someone to build.

Love all your kit/mods hannibal, always professionally done - looks like top quality retail kit.

I watched your cyclic development with envy!!

Maybe a slight spanner in the works for you....or hopefully motivation for another build stirthepot

Last year I replaced my G27 stock and ARC modded wheels and inverted pedals with Fanatec Wheelbase (v1) and Clubsport Pedals (v2). The difference in quality is off the scale and there has also been a good quality shaving of lap times primarily due to the extra pedal travel which gives more fine control and ability to press harder to the limit whilst staying in control.

thanks!

your wheels are very tasty!
i have to admit, i am a noob when it comes to driving. for the 5+ years i own the g27, i probably spend a day in total with it. who know, with the upcoming rift~ maybe the vr driving is so compelling i would be motivated to step up my driving hardware.

but i do have my sights on making a "minigun" like controller should digital combat simulator supports doorguns with multiplayer support.. sort of like this

NOT MY SETUP

but unfortunately the only games that sort of come close to allowing such a controller, is arma and il2. please please DCS, i hope the DCS will get their multi-seat multiplayer netcode straightened out so they themselves and 3rd party devs like belsimtek can develop existing and new modules to support multiple players in one aircraft.

imagine a pilot with full heli controls in a huey uh-1 flying 2 other players with miniguns... in VR!

Hannibal,
How do you like the Jetseat? I'm thinking of adding one to my build. Do you think the feedback effects would be noticeable through a foam seat cushion, or does it have to be on top of the seat padding?

Thanks!
