That rail trestle fire happened about three years ago in the next county over from me. Unknown fire origin (there were suspicions, but nothing conclusive). I know some of the fire fighters that were on scene when the collapse happened. That severed the rail connection between three small towns, one with a major industry tied to the oil field, and the main AT&SF rail line. The rail spur is privately owned. It took them a little over a year to rebuild the trestle.

You can cook a giant woodfired pizza there. I wouldnt, those food beams are coated in a weather treatment that is extremely toxic...

I was expecting a huge pizza. DISSAPOINT!! Me too! I thought this was a thread about a new size pizza. Most pizza places have small, medium and large. We have a Pizzeria here that has X-Small 8", Small 10", Medium 12", Large 14", X-Large 16", and Super 20". Then they also have a 24" and a 30". The toppings for the 24" and 30" range from $2.50 to $4 per topping. Those are gigantic pizzas. You can feed an army with a 30". That's more than twice the size of most Pizzeria's average large pizzas.

Considering I see fences and gates on the ground I am wondering why they would have needed to build a trestle instead of leaving the tracks on the ground?
Wheels Trains can't change elevation that quickly, so if there is a ridge line, the adjustment must be made miles in advance or S-curves to make it up a hill/mountain.

Wheels The Colorado River (the one in central Texas, not Arizona) is just out of sight from where the camera was aimed.
