We usually order pizzas and wings and breadsticks.

My kiddies love pizzas and breadsticks.

I swear if they had their way with I and their Mommy, they can eat pizza and breadsticks 3 times a day 7 days a week 365 days per year.

My wife also makes a great cheese dip with picante sauce in it so we will have that with chips or we can also make beef and chicken nacho chips with fresh pico and guacamole and sour cream on it.

Then there will be plenty of soda pop for the kids, of course.

I don't drink any soda pop. I may have one or two beers.

I think I'm going all out and go get a giant fried seafood platter for us to split! Maybe wash it down with a 2L of Dr. Pepper!

Then come Monday morning as I'm cooking a healthy breakfast, pretend that it never happened. smile

Homemade pizza rolls. I am thinking of 3-5 different types. Pulled pork, buffalo chicken, jerk chicken, pepperoni, maybe just a plain cheese roll for the kids, and possibly spinach and roasted red peppers. I figure this covers the urge for wings (I love wings, but between brining and smoking them before flying its a multiple day affair) and pizza in one fell swoop.

They are kind of like cinnamon rolls. Roll out your dough, add toppings and cheese then roll it back up into a tube and slice into pieces. Place them on their ends and bake. For the pepperoni or cheese ones the sauce will be on the side for dipping, for the bbq, jerk, and buffalo it will go down as a base kind of like sauce on a normal pizza.

There used to be a restaurant here that made them and called them chrusties. The H is silent, no idea why its even there. Anyway, it was the go to go-to drunk food of choice when my fiancee and I were in college. The place went out of business in the middle of one summer with pretty much zero warning and then the building burned down shortly after. The people who owned it were sketchy so you can draw your own conclusions.

Dude, I'm trying that! I'll probably use some premade crescent roll dough instead of making it myself though.
For today, I'm going with beef & sausage chili. Just stoked up the crockpot. Probably do some pepperoni-jalapeno-nachos later, but oven style, not a big vat of queso since the crockpot is taken up.

Jug (growler) of Oatmeal Stout from a local brewery, wife made home made mozzarella sticks and I baked some wings. Nachos with home made guac and topped with home made chilli for dinner.

Oh, there's a football game on?

Sunday dinner is antipasto and some homemade sausage ravioli in a tomato/basil sauce. A chardonnay with the salad and a cab with the pasta.

edit: Oh and a fresh baguette I just picked up at Winn Dixie for a buck.

We do something similar with puff pastry, roll out a circle, spread topping over it and then segment it leaving a small circle in the middle, then twist up the segments and bake in a hot oven. comes out as puffy flaky bites.
