A Steam sale? Now?

With a Chinese Holiday theme? Huh....

In any case,

Fallout 4 has a 33% discount.

Yeah just saw that myself and wondered "what the heck"? There must be some moon worshipers or Buddhists running Steam. Weird. Hope there something good for sale though. smile

I'm guessing the number of of gamers in China who have signed up for Steam has increased a lot over the past couple of years. Anyway, for 33% off I think I will finally pull the trigger on Fallout 4.

korea operates on the lunar calendar, if you ever ask a korean how old they are they'll likely give you two ages, the higher one being their lunar (korean) age

china also. there are way more chinese using steam than you think. 1+ billion people live there.

some people in japan still use the lunar calendar as well

lunar calendar actually makes more sense IMO, there's no weird diving and missing days in february, months of different length etc

Or, possibly, they're a business using any pretext to boost sales on titles that are starting to flag in order to maximize profits.

But I'd go with moon worshipers just to be safe.

[edit]

Apparently I'm a snake married to a dragon.

No wonder she doesn't like Skyrim.

I picked up Fallout 4 for 40 bucks. I've put 8 hours into the game so far and I love it. Do you get to see a bombed out irradiated Fenway Park in the game?

Oh, you do. It's not a spoiler to say Diamond City is properly named.

Btw, the scales are slightly wrong for the city, as one could imagine. Bunker Hill is much further from Boston Common than it is in the game.

FO4 is one of the few games I've actually modded. First, because it's dead simple with the Nexus Mod system and second there are some very minor ones that add quite a bit.

I'd recommend the "seasons" mod that allow one to change, well, the seasons. I've loaded the summer mod so that there's some green to the landscape. After 200 years there's absolutely no reason to think there wouldn't be green grass and leaves on trees. I also added some clothing and since I went the Minutemen route grabbed the one that gives them uniforms and more of them. Oh, and some shorts and t-shirts for the gals to wear - it's hot and they tend to do most of the farming, after all.
