Ah Toast! Yes I know that one! Spread peanut butter on them, it ruins the aerodynamics and slows them down! :DM

I'm ready to try the peanut butter....nothing else seems to work.....do you recommend creamy or chunk style? Well chunky makes a rougher surface hence more air resistance!

Don't have too much WOFF time in the 13 vs the D7 (waiting for two-seaters) but historically the pilots "boomed and zoomed" when flying Spads and Se's against the D7. They didn't call it that but the same thing in practice. Dive (if possible), one pass, fire, keep going straight till clear, use you speed built up to climb up, turn around, and do it again. Don't get into a turn right with them. If you get into trouble dive away. Historically the D7 won't be able to keep up and you should also be faster in the level. +1 Well said Duke.

As far as I know, the real life D.VIIF had a separate throttle for the high altitude boost. It was moved to the first position when reaching 2000 metres, and then moved one step forward for every additional 1000 metres of altitude. It could also be used below 2000 metres to give the engine some tremendous extra boost, but like Pol mentioned, this could damage the engine. I wonder if it would be possible to have such a separate throttle in WOFF too? It could be used in some other planes with similar engine configurations, like the Pfalz D.XII.
