Howdy,

I'm not sure if it's possible, but does anyone know if there are textures that can be modified for the glass panes in the cockpits? I don't mind the smudgy look, but it looks somewhat pixelated in a way that doesn't mesh well with the beauty that is everything else.

The cockpit glass changes depending on what weather you are flying in.
You get the "smudgy" panes in bad weather logically enough.
I looked at this years ago and, I don't remember the details, but at the time a "fix" (to have always clear glass) didn't come off as easily workable.
Then I got a new computer, graphics card, WOFF 2.0, and things looked much better - in fact I like the fact the glass changes in the weather types.

Another "atta-boy" for OBD!

Since I have no idea what WOFF version you are running - or your hardware setup - I would say look there first. Pixelated, as I use the term, usually means I need to do something to my graphics settings.
Obviously I am not much help for you I am afraid!

EDIT: If you wish to play around with it the weather dependent cockpit glass overlays are kept in the Terrain folder (not the main WOFF folder) under weather folder tag. .This is by memory so I may not have the names exactly right but they are there unless things have changed.

Thanks for the reply, Duke.

I'm using the most current everything with graphics setting nearly maxed out. "Pixelated" was probably not the best choice of words. It appears to have more of a... low res look when compared to everything else. It's a nitpicky thing on my part, and not a game killer by any means, and I appreciate that it may not be an easy thing to alter. If I can find the files and if they are modifiable, then I would rather just have a clear pane, or even just slightly darker as they currently are, but without the variation in texture.

Anyways, I'll check around where you mentioned.

Thanks again!

Good luck.
If you have an issue finding them let me know.
I can fire up the WOFF machine and search it and my memory.

Maybe post a picture ? Do you have the settings on high for graphics in workshops?
