This video demonstrates the search lights in the distance and the runway lighting of Bray Dunes during night flights. The video capture quality doesn't do justice to the quality of the in sim experience. It is awesome. The mod was done by RAF_Louvert at SimHQ and is available from the official WOFF site on their Mods page.
Due to the poor vid capture you probably won't see the runway lights until you are at the "5:48" minute time of the vid. From there on it gets better.
use the "settings" cog wheel to run the vid in 720HD for best viewing!

GAW, if you think they are gorgeous based on my vid, then you haven't seen anything yet until you actually load the mod and see it in the sim!! Let us know what you think when you do.
Cheers

Lou spent a lot of time on the airfield mods and they are marvelous, unfortunately few people seem to have taken any notice as far as I can tell. I re-awakened the issue via this thread in hopes that it would be noticed by those who are not aware of them.
Best Regards;

I guess the reason I've not downloaded them is because I've never flown a pilot that operated out of either one of those airfields.
I see your point Banjoman, but consider that if you ever have a mission to raid the airfield, you will miss out on all the fine details.

Thanks Robert, again, for the kudos on my Bray Dunes Mod and for showing it off. I must point out though that all credit for those nifty burning oil barrels goes to Giovanni 'Nanni' Cignoni who created them years ago for CFS3. I simply incorporated them into my aerodrome mod. But glad you like it.

However you look at it Lou, it is a really fine piece of work that required many hours on the learning curve and much dedication and commitment to authenticity. You should be proud of what you have put together. It is not trivial.
People who have not used it don't know what they are missing.

Agreed that they don't know what they are missing. It is pretty darned cool coming in for a landing in the dark of night and seeing those fires guiding your way.

Hey Gents.....home at last! Loaded the Bray Dunes mod into WOFF via JGSME. QC night on Bray Dunes field....no fires...how do I enable these or see 'em? thx
never mind.....did the last thing anybody does.....read the directions!!! These are marvelous! Hard enough seeing a damn thing at night and these are very welcoming.....great mod.....fun to see 'em flickering away. VERY NICE....thank you!!!!!
And thank you, Lou, for these two wonderful airfield mods! I just downloaded your dual Bray-Dunes/Boistrancourt Combined Aerodromes mod the other day and they are fantastic.
Dogfighting is what you do "after" you drop your bombs and blow something up! Can you say "JABO!"
Glad you liked hem. Imagine if all the airfields were historically accurate like that. It would be one heck of an effort but the visuals would be stupendous!

Trooper and Adger. The vid quality is very poor due to my capture program and the fact the lighting is very low (night time). It is very hard for me to do justice to the mod. I stated this when I originally posted it. Nothing is wrong on your end.

I have rendered a new video to demonstrate Bray Dunes. It is better but given the dark night time environment the vid will not be a good as the experience you will have when running the mod.

SPECIAL NOTE: You must be flying some time after 22:00 hrs (very dark) before the lights get turned on! That is my observation. That said Lou could probably clarify this better than I.
use the "settings" cog wheel to run the vid in 720HD for best viewing! At 1:02 minutes into the vid the runway lighting becomes quite visible.
