I'm about to get a second Xbox One (1TB) for the basement. I'm not sure if I should wait for the "elite" verse that apparently has some sort of hybrid SSD.
Skatezilla, or anyone else, what say you?
"For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Matthew 5:11
Indeed we call blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, because “the Lord is compassionate and merciful. James 5:11

Lol, speed up loadding times of games, ha.
Hybrid Drives are small 5400 rpm drives with a small NAND flash array on the bottom of the drive, usually about 8 to 16GB if used as a cache system or 32 gb when used as a partition.
either way the SATA-II interface will bottleneck the drive regardless, and the games will likely be larger than the NAND Cache.
u'd be better off buying a SSD and dropping it into a USB3.0 enclosure.

With Games for Gold working on both One and 360.
Im looking at getting a external drive for my One.
I can get a WD 5TH drive for 99.99,
Size isnt important, lol. the book drives are fine, i have kne already on my main PC (dont remember if its 3TB or 4TB).
But in USB3 mode its plenty fast, and benches faster than XBO Internal Drives would.
Im at 95% of internal drive space and I have about 18 games uninstalled on my ready list due to space.
