I've been working my way through the British tank tree lately...
I was pleased to see as I worked through 'spading' all the rank 1 vehicles that they all were in production and saw service.

However, working through the rank 2 vehicles it was not surprising that the usual funnies turned up.

The 3 inch gun carrier (on the Churchill chassis) never saw action.
The AEC Mk II 20mm AA system was never put into production.

Having said that, the two new desert maps are very well done, and with the Cruiser series, Valentines and Crusaders roaming around, we just need some good desert skins now to set it all off.

Quite surprised they haven't included the early Shermans the British used, plus moving the Grant over from the American tree would make the desert scenarios even better.

The .50's seem way over modeled to me, been shredding me in my Pz.IV's

Is that even possible? Is German armour so poor that my crew would all be killed by machine gun fire? Feel's wrong to me.

There is a lot that is wrong with WTGF... don't get me started, lol!

Having said that, I just grit my teeth and try to work through the grind and ignore the problems. I honestly think Gaijin don't care. They have their formula at making money and they stick to it.
They constantly bombard the fans with, and advertise historical accuracy but historical game play rarely comes into it.

I enjoy it as a 'game' and enjoy the good looking game that it is, but that's it...

And the Churchill has been uprated in the latest patch to BR4.0. Still a Tiger killer with tough armour, won't be the last uprating I'm guessing.

Oddly the American .50 does nowhere near the same damage.
