Unfortunately, it's easy to imagine a scenario where ED becomes the hold up, waiting to release this until another patch.

Coming out this year is good news. Not being silly about things but honestly wondering what state it will be in.

The latest patch for 1.5 already introduced performance corrections for the Super 530D and Magic 2 missiles, both used by the Mirage 2000C.

So far it looks like they're still on track.

What is sad though is that they believe they are going to make this year, which means roughly 16 days left and they still can't predict an actual release date, that is some screwed up dev environment.

I would consider it neutral news, might be good but then again, they said they are pretty much confident, which is enough of a hedge that they have plausible deniability when they miss their date. Every single 3rd party aircraft has missed their estimate for release and usually by a wide margin.
