Noticed this on RSI forums for Star Citizen and was wondering if anyone has given them a try yet. Their pricing structure is about the same as the JoyLocs that used to exist, but the uptake seems to be more with them marketing to the RSI fan base. Been thinking about getting some myself, but am waiting for the company to refine it a bit more after a few iterations.

For 90 a piece they better work. biggrin

The only problem that I can see is the rather short base. This might be a matter of personal preference, but I find it very uncomfortable to have the stick too close to me. So the throttle and the stick are not in the same "line" so to speak, the throttle is behind the joystick in this "line". You can't move the joystick forward because it would hit the desk, so you have to move the throttle back, which means its base has to be longer.

When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Thanks for the link.....hadn't seen this before and had been struggling to come up with something I could build myself that would be light yet stable/solid.

I've just ordered a mount for my Warthog throttle ( I have a self-made centre mount so didn't buy one for the stick).

Will let you know how long it takes to arrive in the UK and first impressions

Edit;
Dec 16 - submitted order
Dec 19 - order changed from 'in process' to 'in production'
Dec 23 - ready to ship
Dec 27 - received email stating stand due to be posted on 28th
Dec 30th - Mount arrived

The mount arrived today, took 5 minutes set the required height and attach the throttle plate (comes separate so the package can be flatpacked).

It's well-machined and rock solid. I'd say the cost is justified but if anyone had the tools and machining capability they could probably produce one for approximately £50-£60. The key component of this particular mount is the toggle clamp....I had a quick look on ebay and found the exact same one used by Monster Tech (link).

In summary it's probably worth paying the extra £25 to have a nice light yet robust throttle/stick mount from Monster Tech. I'm definitely impressed.

Actually you don`t need to machine much. Monstertech uses Bosch Rexroth profiles and components. They can be purchased cheap on internet. You only need to cut them to length and bolt them together with the fittings.
Rexroth components
The clamp can be bought on aliexpress for less than 10USD. The only machined part is the sheet metal plate specific to the controllers.

If it`s worth 90EUR is up to you.
