Wish they started making force-feedback sticks again and call them WoFF Edition.

Very good idea IMHO, Banjoman! Maybe impossible to realise, to change from one air service to another in the data bases, but good point. Would be great, if it worked.

Have a Journal that gets updated and can be added to, mentioning pilots deaths and victories etc etc.
Was just thinking the same thing - to keep track of my engine failures.

A journal is something you can keep updated yourself, using a notebook. I do that with all pilots I fly longer campaigns with.
I am a bit afraid, that too many wishes and their realisation could overload WOFF, and bring back more instability. I guess WOFF is now a very solid product. Some minor mistakes here and there could still be worked out, and it would be a great, compact WW1 sim, more than worth the title "GOLD".
It is already quite a mammoth, with all the many different squadrons und units, changing their areas of operations over the war months; and with over 6000 skins (!) for individual units and even single HA pilots.
So whatever is getting added, should be a careful choice IMHO.
"Multiplayer" may have been dropped for very good reasons, not to make WOFF "burst at the seems", so to say? After all, many of us don't have the ultra-fast hightech rigs, which could handle EVERYthing.
BUT - why worry; the devs know better than any of us, what can be done or not. I bet, they have their plans made already, anyway. And whatever they'll come up with - I'm sure I'll like it.
Didn't they mention "ships" and "seaplanes"? Or did I only dream that? That would add a lot to the coastal actions IMHO.
Okay, no nails left to chew - I'll go and buy me some chocolate now...

And whatever they'll come up with - I'm sure I'll like it. +1 As for Multiplayer, my guess is that if GOLD is to be the last major release for WOFF, it would seem unlikely they would throw such a huge, new and challenging feature into WOFF as Multiplayer because it introduces a large number of additional variables that would probably need tweaking and changing over time to get it right. They are looking to put their focus on something non-WWI in the future. A Multiplayer component opens up a whole new can of worms for people, especially if it contains a player vs player component as opposed to a purely cooperative adventure. Of course, I don't know squat about what is or isn't coming and if they throw in Multiplayer, I'll be overjoyed. I'm just throwing out there to keep our expectations reasonable and not be too disappointed if it isn't included.

If you do not ask, you get anything . Dreaming is allowed. I didn't mention anything about asking. By all means, ask away. Anything is possible sir. I'm just talking about expectations of what's probable.

If you do not ask, you get anything . Dreaming is allowed. Yes, of course, let's dream... Did I ever, by the way, mention how VERY much I would like to see historical airfields, like Bertangles, Roucourt, Vert Galand or Phalempin? Or - that I would LOVE to be able to fly a Roland D.VI over Flanders fields?

Sorry, but I see it pointless to update this thread anymore. Unfortunately, I got the clear message that it's not about what we want or dream, but it's focused on what OBD has already planned to do. I don't think its pointless at all. I'm all for letting OBD know what we want. I just hope people will moderate their expectations because - obviously - its highly unlikely everyone will get everything that has been asked for. There's a huge difference between a request and an expectation.

We didn't ask for a thread about what should be in WOFF Gold or WOFF x or whatever the next release will be called - obviously you created it for a bit of fun?
We have a wishlist thread already of course. We read and consider what is feasible given we know what we can and can't do and how long some things would take but as always we try our best to make something worth having - slogging away day after day. Well said Pol!
