I am getting Error Msgs with French pilots. The game cannot resolve Squadrons in Nov 1917. Then the Critical error msg shows up and I go back to the screen before that. ( the Go to field screen). I tried Deleting Pilot and redoing with the same pilot and date but a different Unit ,but same thing happens again. Any one else having this problem ? Thanks.

P.S. The French pilots before that date worked fine also German and brits.

Carrick, I only just downloaded the "hotfix" for Esc 62, which is to be found in the "Downloads" of the WOFF Website.

The problem seems to occur only on 23 November, cause when I advanced by a day, it was gone.
Nevertheless have I now downloaded and replaced the file.
The text there says where it has to be placed.

Seems that If move up to 1918 the french work again same pilot and unit ect.

Same for the Brit Pilot must re start 1918 Haven't tried the Hun pilot but probably the same.

I think it is only a problem on 23 November - advance time, and you should be fine.
Even better: replace above-mentioned file.

U seem to be correct just update one day. I had already tried to switch unit so I will do a reassignment thingie so the story in DiD will flow. I did download the file but cant get it to run. It justs opens to a lot of Text.

Carrick58, it isn't a file you run. You just replace the bad file with the corrected file.

Where in the game files does it go ?

Paste it to ...\WOFF\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields\campaigns\CampaignData\Scratchpad\ and let it overwrite the old Esc62.txt file.

Not sure why there is trouble with it, just read the website where the download is.
It has almost step-by-step instructions there for this ?
