Hello world! I'm new to the SimHQ community, but no so much on the sim side. Pleased to meet you.

Recently (Yesterday), I installed EEAH/EECH 1.1.5.2FIX5, and I am having problems with running it smoothly (it runs between 90-40 fps at open fields, and it goes down to even 15 FPS at crowded areas). My specs are the folowing:

-AMD II x3 450 (3.20 Ghz) Tri-core CPU
-Radeon R7 250x 1GB DDR5 GPU
-4GB DDR3 1600 Mhz RAM
-Windows 7 Ultimate x64

And my EECH.ini:

Any advice on how to improve performance? Thanks in advance.

The old eech.ini setting working in 1.16 test version? Some settings is gone from the ini like "32bit"; "dxtm"; "nodx9zbufferfix"; etc.

Other problem is the extremly low FPS, and i don't know, how to dissolve the problem.

My PC specs:
Phenom II X4 925@3040MHz
ATI 6870 1GB
6GB DDR3
Windows7 X64

I need a working eech.ini. Somebody could help me?

you should try to install all optional mods one by one, I noticed that clouds and airfields hits performance.

ini file is compatible, old fields will disappear with next game launch but don't forget to change GWUT filename.

But this is the new mod, not the old one. So the clouds and airfields kills the performance and fps?

about what version you spoke about originally, 1.16.0 or 1.15.2?

airfields became more complicated so that's obvious. new clouds was increased in size, current engine can draw transparent textures with performance loss - more surface of the screen are "covered" with clouds textures, lower FPS you will have. you can completely disable clouds in ini and see the difference.

I see the difference. I just installed 1.16 again without the airfields a new clouds. The fps rate is 50-60. If installed with Airfields and without new clouds the fps decreased to 35-40, so this rate make the game playable. If I installed with airfields and new clouds, the fps is dramatically drop to 10-15, sometimes just 7. If something is smoking, make the game like a comic.

So, the only altenative is to install the mod without the new clouds. frown

And Thank's to help me. notworthy
