...some may have found out already: If you want your whole Squad to fly with a Custom-Skin, name it: Plane_t_Squad 19Year-you-fly-in This is particulary useful, if you fly a Plane, where only the Default Skin exists (Halb D3 or thr new Fokker D2), or if you fly Jasta 3125424653-z or ESC 6390863509-y, which haven't got their own Skins, yet. Don't forget to additionally save your Skin somewhere else, because if OBD comes up with a real historically correct Skin for your Squad in an Update, yours will be overwritten...

Yeah, that's a better Explanation. I guess, that will work with Historical Aces, also? That would make Air Combat a bit easier, for one could identify the Pilots better during the Furball... Thx, Pol I was thinking, how would the Halb D3 look like, if the Jasta 5 would have started their distinctive Design a bit earlier...

Boys, be careful messing around, I say - I had done so with the Albatros D.I, and I ended up having only a grey "plastic model" - I couldn't select ANY skin for it anymore, and had to re-install the add-on No. 2, and the patch for it. Just a warning!

I did not re-install the whole WOFF, to be clear, just the 2nd Add-on.
Yes, I had replaced my skin with the stock skin, and it still wouldn't work. Might be a "speciality" with the Albatros D.I ?

Same problem I had a while back. Suddenly, My Albatros D.V was ivory white. The next time I flew, ALL the Albatri were white. (Have no idea what I did, but had to re-install everything.)
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

Yes it will. That's what I did with 54 squadron a little while ago. It goes without saying that you must back-up your original skins!

May I suggest that you always make JSGME mods for your skins so you can easily revert back to stock skins without any worry of corrupting the stock environment.

How is that to be done, Robert??? Olham; Here is how I have made my custom skins available via JSGME: 1 Create the following directory structure in your "Mods" folder and add your custom skins to the last folder in the string: 2 invoke JSGME program where you will now see the "My Custom Skins" folder available for promotion to "active" That's all there is to it. Moving the mod to the in-active side of the JSGME menu puts the stock WOFF stuff back in place.

Great - I will do that then. I will even move already-made skins into that folder, and activate it. Thanks a lot, Robert!

Olham, Nietzsche, if you have any problems with it, just let me know. Glad you like it. Cheers

It works - I have tried it out. That makes it a lot more tidied up and safer, I guess. I can take all selfmade skins out at once now. Thank you, Robert!
