Hi folks;

I am happy to report that the JSGME version of the "WOFF Belgian Skin Pack by Olham and RAF Louvert", as well as the "WOFF Cockpit Skins by Olham" has been put up on the official WOFF web site in the "User Mods" section.

As indicated, these are JSGME ready and so will install automatically into your mods folder and appear in your JSGME panel for activation when you so desire. The downloaded zip file contains a "Readme" file explaining what the mod is and any special notations regarding its use; as well as an ".exe" file which will install the package for you.

Hope you all enjoy these two mods and all accolades go to Olham, Lou and Pol for hosting it.

Cheers folks

You have to be very careful with what you name them for them to show in-game.

Cool!

How many different skins does the Belgian pack contain? I've been toying around with the idea of starting a Belgian pilot in a DID campaign, if my current pilot happens to die. Could this pack be used for that?

I didn't have time to fly each one and take screen shots folks. I just took the packages from Olham and Lou and bundled them up as JSGME.
You will have to check them out yourselves and then post them here if you like.

Not sure if these are all in the bundle - these are all the Belgian skins I had made for the old "Donloads" section.
I guess they will all be in here.
Mind you, most of the credit goes to the OBD skinners, as I have only modified, what they had provided us with.

RAF_Louvert had made at least a Belgian Sopwith Camel, and I think some Nieuports.

The Belgians flew in these units (according to Townsend's WW1 Airfields Maps):

1 Escadrille de Chasse
Coxyde 1916-02-15 - 1916-06-15
Les Moeres 1916-06-16 - 1918-03-15

5 Escadrille de Chasse
La Panne 1916-09-15 - 1917-07-16
Les Moeres 1917-07-17 - 1918-03-15

9 Escadrille de Chasse
Les Moeres 1918-03-15 - 1918-10-28
Moerkerke 1918-10-29 - 1918-11-11

10 Escadrille de Chasse
Les Moeres 1918-03-16 - 1918-10-28
Moerkerke 1918-10-29 - 1918-11-11

11 Escadrille de Chasse
Les Moeres 1918-05-28 - 1918-10-28
1918-10-29 - 1918-11-11

Unfortunately, no French unit stays up there by the sea for all the time.
But if you enlist with RNAS-2, you should be able to fly there from 1916 to 1918.
That would be as close as it gets.

Try some of the tricks in the troubleshooting section of the readme. I had trouble getting some of my own to show, but they all eventually would...

Folks New Update to the Belgian Skins Mod is coming!

Olham has provided some historical information and a map to help you make the best choice of Belgian squadrons for the use of these skins.
I have also taken screen captures of the aircraft that were not in the original "Readme" file and added them as well as the historical info.

I suspect Pol will be updating the mod on the WOFF site soon so the version to look for is V1.1 and the old version is 1.0b

None of the skins have changed and there are no additional skins added. It is only updates to the Readme file containing the above information.

Best Regards;

You must extract the exe file to MODS folder.
