The Disk version costs 55EUR, and the Steam Code only is 60EUR?????
What exactly is their major malfunction?????

1. disks take up shelf space in the warehouse; Amazon want's them to move
2.supply v. demand. More ppl just opt for the steam code
3.Amazon is US based, Steam is Australia based, so exchange rate weirdness might be afoot


FYI I got the collectors edition myself, so mine was disk based. Basically, it comes with a steam code you activate when installing, and the disk provides ~5GB of the ~25GB total install. Relevant point here is that it's all Steam based at the end of the day.

Different distribution contracts. Valve/Steam may not be permitted to give rebates (yet), Amazon may actually need to pay the same to Bethesda but is forced to lower prices because other retail chains may have a special offer, or something.
