So i was bored today and decided to go street level near the White House.

Don't know about anyone else but it's a waste of time. Google Earth kept crashing
on me no matter what street i went on around the building.

Just some useless FYI

Waiting for some Black helicopters lmao.

Here's another fun Google Maps search for you.

Try looking up Groome Lake, NV.

Nothing major, it's just odd slivers of blurred areas over the compound.

This of course is a grand tradition. In 1950ish, the UK
put out a set of aerial photos taken toward the end of WWII,
which provided a complete areal photomap of the country.
Parts of this are now available to see in the historical
image slider of google earth. But if you go looking for
RAF bases, except for a few really obvious ones embedded
in suburban London, you will find nothing but farm fields.

Look closer wink

Might just be crappy satellite image loading but there's definitely blurred areas. The secondary runway is a good one.

Also if anyone wants a cheap chuckle try dragging the street view guy across the base biggrin

The best part about this is if you drag the StreetView icon to Groom Lake, it turns into a little UFO. Actually anywhere near that area, it changes.

While I don't dispute that you are seeing blurred areas I am not.

I don't see the blurred/blanked areas either. I'm on a Mac using Firefox and Google maps.

The UFO is hilarious! matrix
