I cannot add anything to what has been said except my prayers and condolences to the people of France, our oldest ally. I do not know what the leaders of the US will do to aid in the total annihilation of this cancer because they don't seem to know themselves. But, to the people of France: The people of the US are with you.

What needs to be done is very easy: Support Assad, and the Problem is gone within 3 Months... but do we really want to do that?

I had no idea the French National Anthem was so good. For those of you like me that didn't know the words here is a good version with English and French subtitles and I believe it is sung by a military choir. Vive La France.

It's one of the best, IMHO. Canada's is also great.

Nord, France.
The last time I sang it, it sounds bitter,
but now, thanks to the Englishmen, it is great again.

Thanks to them & all for the support!

Isn't the English language something like half French? smile

Half French, half Norman, half Angeln and half Saxon - oh, and even some Roman.
The mix is such, that you need a melting pot with a volume of at least 200 %. biggrin

Indeed, it's a no-win choice there. We're close enough to a proxy war with Putin as it is. It's a shame that the only reasonable response is to kill as many ISIS troops as possible. Then they can recruit more disaffected young men, kill more innocents, and we bomb the crap out of them again. I guess if they want to be martyrs, we'll just have to oblige and arrange the meeting... rolleyes I'd call them idiots (they are), but this level of wickedness is way past that. I'll NOT hesitate to call them ungodly cowards, though.

I'm glad that apparently all our friends are ok. We stand with you, France.
