It still looks that even in custom battles players can choose planes to fly that are completely out of contects of the battle, meaning some must choose a biplane and some choose a jet. Yet the battle was fought in 1942.

That's why I gave up on the aviation mode. That and the ridiculous FMs of bombers (with no cockpits) and spotting though the latter is much improved now.

That too is out of place Sokol1 but not as bad as biplanes and jets. For me that is a game killer.

Well there were PO-2's in Korea... and I know at least one US jet was lost trying to slow down enough to shoot it down.

I just played a Stalingrad Historical Simulator Battle Event where it had limited plane sets and it was great. Too bad it was only around for a few hours before it changed over. Wish they had one of these going all the time.
