I've gone back to Panzer Corps, good old fashioned in depth wargaming.

Looking for a good strategy title (not tactical), commander level, like above. Tried Ardennes, frustrates the heck out of me because a) it gives you no technical info about your units and b) each day is divided into about 10 turns, you can only move 1-2 units per turn, and it seems totally arbitrary what units you can move when and what you can't.

Nothing new out there really grabbing my attention...anyone got a suggestion?

"Modern Campaigns" by John Tiller. ( link). Some might not like them, but I played those titles a lot on the PC some years ago and really enjoyed them.

P.S. I wish that someone would make a Steel Panthers remake for iOS.

Tried FTL. Too freaking hard. I read a 'guide to winning' on a game site where the guy started with 'Now that i have played 200 hours of FTL I can beat it on 'easy level' every time.'

Seriously?

I did get through to the end of game boss twice in about 50 games. You kill him and he comes back 2 more times? That's just stupidly hard.

Delete app.
