Since it is the final episode of the Brasco series, I thought it's better to post especially this one in a new thread.

Including a nod to one of the best members the forum here ever had. Those who know will recognize it. thumbsup

I hope you like it.

How many times did you have to fly that mission to get footage from the POV of each plane?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

Only once. F1 is the wonderbutton where you can switch between yourself and another AC you have highlighted.

What a great finale, Creaghorn - I admit I still haven't seen half of the videos
(thought it might be something for the coming dark winter days), but watched the end already now.
Great idea and story, Daniel - wonderful realisation! A very touching series which fits well
with the whole idea of WOFF!

I guess that "one of the best members" must be Lou - but if so; could you tell what "nod" you meant?
Does he have a son with the name Paul?
Or is it the "flying room" with all the decorations?
Or maybe you had that photo of his staircase in Dakota?
Please tell!

How does one select and highlight the second aircraft? ('First I've heard of this.)

You can not only mark foes, but also friends with the TAC, and then switch forth and back
between yours and the friend's aircraft, using the F keys.

Yes, it's Lou, and if he watches it he will know. Actually others who were there in the old BHAH times in Combatace might know, too if they remember.

What exactly was the "nod" - I was in the old forum, but must have missed this?

.

It's Paul Blum and it appears he's made it to the end of the war! I haven't seen his personal livery for a very long time, and never on a D.VII. Wonderful final episode Creaghorn, and I'm honored that you brought back my old OFF hero to play a part. Very well done Sir, and really quite moving.

Damn, yeah, of course it was Paul von Blum - I knew the story of Paul, as far as it went,
and I should have recognised the name!
And yes: very moving touch indeed!

I hope you didn't mind. I always found it a shame that his story for some reason never continued. It was beautifully done and I thought it would be cool if such long time characters would meet. thumbsup

An excellent ending to a well produced series. Thank you Creaghorn S!

It's really something to see someone end the war.

I don't mind at all Creaghorn, as I said I was honored that Paul was included in your wonderful series. I also enjoy it when our pilot's stories intertwine here. And I do still intend to get back to von Blum's story now that we have WOFF. So many things to do, so little time.

Thanks for sharing the link Sir, however to make it bit easier for folks to start at the beginning here is the link to the first page of Paul's story: Paul Blum's Saga

Congrats on a job well done! I have watched only a few of the videos, but I've liked them a lot.

I also remember Paul Blum. Feels like it was a million years ago though...
