Just goes to show how big the learning curve is to mod some games. Wonder if the developers would put out a modding kit like some other games. Would help to sell the game I would think. Mods seem to extend the life of a game as well.
Glad you are trying and hope you eventually succeed. The basic models look good.
Cheers

Cheers Sabow vehicles are pretty complex under the hood so to speak. 99.9 percent of modder types will fail bringing things in and getting them to work right. After years just starting to see some things get in that are legit and playable. I still do not know if this will work out. May be like my old playable m113 from like 3 years back... utterly borked and hopeless. Or the shot gol that was less fouled up, but still fouled up. You could drive it. You could sort of shoot the gun...kind of. It would crash the game a lot and nothing worked right. This guy as a vehicle is even more basic. My m38 model is quite good for a sane game model on triangle count. Textures are still getting worked on, certainly not done. But if I can get more things to work right like the high poly dash board and gauges for driver there is still a higher poly .50 cal and sights to make. The one on here was intended for ai and not in your face. Right now my spec map and the odd gloss map that sabow uses are BS temp things. Makes model look bad. And some issues going on with converting texture over to game I am not happy with. But that can all get sorted. In short, it ain't done. I know someone at gravi that likes this model. And for about a minute had a guy at Tripwire talking to people. But meep. Really need to move to an easier game engine to plop my crap into for giggles.

Shame you cannot get them in the game as mods, all that work, but keep trying. Regards MarkL

Exciting stuff.... I figured out how to make the working gauges. Ya I said it looked easy. It is. So long as you assign the right cockpit mesh there on. LOL Forgot 0 equals 1 right. DUH! Might make a little video of this thing soon. Its not done and its still borked all over the place but running over bushes in the jeep is sort of fun right? Woot! x2. Got the manual gear shift working. Well sort of. Its crazy as using the T62 set up. But it moves and stuff with the gear changes. Small victories.

Well, as far as the speedometer is concerned 15 miles an hour is as fast it will go. Clearly something I set up wrong there. Feels more like 30. Fuel gauge seems to work right. As does the battery/alternator. No idea with the temp and oil pressure gauges. If the temp is right explains the exploding engine problem. Ok, not really. Not a clue where that is set up in config. Something I clearly must have done, typical copy/paste not knowing what the hell does what. Well crap! Can not go faster than 24 km aka 15 miles an hour on any surface including paved roads. Now that is NOT ok.
