I'm heading for 200 million credits...

And I'm thinking about buying a Cobra!

Seems like a fun ship and well sized for doing some salvage and "illicit cargo" recovery missions. Picking up things like black boxes and such. Silent running mode, chaff, and heat sinks where required.

Engaging silent running on my Python is not so hot. It turns off the shields, which then take 8+ minutes to come back online! A Cobra can recharge 4A shields in 2 minutes.

No,a Cobra is less than 500,000 credits.You can spend 3.5 million on one though.My last Cobra was worth 10 million after I kitted it out.

Yea, Cobras run $379k, or less depending on any discounts.

I hear they are excellent with speed. My build idea has been no weapons, maybe a collector limpet. Sweep in, quickly collect the cargo, and boost away.

I'll probably try it in the near future.

Yep. At 500k that may be my first ship to replace my Sidewinder.
