It's ok. If you use mods...

The 'walk freely around the U-boat' feature does surprisingly little for immersion. Probably because neither you nor the crew really do anything. (I suppose that's accurate in a way though)

At least it looks purdy biggrin

Second patrol, sneaked into a British port, caused same chaos, almost got killed by destroyers on the way out.

I'm using the Wolves of Steel mod. What are you using?

The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Just a mix of minor gameplay and UI mods. Nothing special. I suppose I should give one of the big overhauls a try.

Was this water always here Hans?

Should I touch it?

I do all the work while he just stands there!

Home sweet home. Well until the RAF bombs the **** out of it.

I still think the best of the newest SH games was 3 before they tried to lock down the modding so badly. Boot up 3 with that realistic torpedoes, realistic sinking and dynamic campaign mods and I'm in heaven! Nothing better than pegging a freighter so it starts to slowly sink over a few hours and then blowing up the ships that try to come help!

SH5 gets alot of stick but with a good selection of mods I really enjoy it.

Personally Wolves of the Pacific was my favourite. The Atlantic is too depressing, give me tropical islands! biggrin

Lol, three posts and three different choices. biggrin
For me they all look great in screenshots but the last one I played and that was without any mods was SH3. The whole online only debacle of SH5 kept me from ever checking it out. IIRC they did patch it out eventually though?
