Yep, same here, used the PMDG 737NG for practice during my type rating. Would like to try the MilViz 732 though!
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

A little late, but I used PMDG 737 to study for my type rating in the 737. It's pretty doggone accurate in systems and FMS modelling. Yep, same here, used the PMDG 737NG for practice during my type rating. Would like to try the MilViz 732 though! Boy, there's a positive endorsement if there ever was one! PMDG's got your back when you step up to the trip-7 too

Thank you all for you valuable input. I am set to purchase the PMDG 737. Now it is a matter if it will run on my step dad's PC. Does PMDG have the same 737 for XP10? Not sure, but the title will run you some CPUs though. There's some serious work going on under the hood on these.

If you have X-plane 10, a company called FlyJsim makes 737-200 and 727's that are really good. These are the old original 737's, very different cockpit from the current PMDG style.
Very detailed on systems and operations. And they fly nice too. Exteriors look really good. Don't expect every panel to open up for maintenance... its made by ONE guy, made to be FLOWN. Where it truly shines in the 3d cockpit actually flying. Several youtubes showing them. Commonly used by two crew, online, from cold and dark to landing.
