Well, not interested in the whole caveman thing in a Far Cry game. They could have called it something else featuring the Dunia engine.

Bad setting. A lot of other settings and directions would have been nice. An attempt to redo Far Cry 2 with better quests (that effect the conflict/story) and more story would have been nice. An excellent theme that they sadly didn't capitalize on much.

Agreed. If they would rework that, add in the dangerous animals, the checkpoints you can take over (at least until a fight breaks out to take it back) and make controls less "floaty"....that would be a great game. Just modding out the Ubisoft-brown filter was a huge improvement. Great game, I'd like to see it perfected.
I wonder if they're trying to put out a survival game like is the trend these days? Maybe they'll incorporate eating/drinking/climate etc? That's the only way I see this being any good. Just doing a FC in the stone age sounds incredibly dull.
