Right, I was instructed to download a new launcher, done that... after running it it made me input a new verification code, then it said install... What? So currently reinstalling... bloody hell, is this the norm then?
Weird.My game updated first then it asked to install the new launcher. Currently playing but I've been stuck in hyper-space for 2 minutes.Will have to force it to close

My launcher advised that I needed a new launcher, I clicked on ok and it brought up a download box. run that and new launcher was installed. Game updated fine.

Same for me. But to be honest I kept my beta updated so I guess there was little to download eventually.

Gave 1.4 a quick test spin on a career restart. And speaking of restarts why is the "random Federation system" always Trevithick? And it would be nice if you could have the option to start in Empire or Alliance space.
Didn't do too much (dumb RL stuff) but the Galaxy map looks different with the addition of a "horizontal plane" to help orientation I presume. Saw the new location (compromised Nav beacon, etc) stuff and the graphics look slightly different on a hyper jump but that was all that jumped out at me on a very quick check to make sure all was working.
I like the galaxy map tabs on the BB mission screen and the transactions tab.I saw a 'recoverable salvage' signal pop up but had my hands full at the time so didn't investigate.
I'm sure they've tweaked the docking computer,it no longer docks like it's drunk and it lands much quicker.....however,this then happened...
Not sure what ship it is,but my Federal Dropship has it caught on its nose and is dragging it to the landing pad.I had to dis-engage the DC and untangle myself.

There were a bunch of other starts available for people who backed at the Alpha and Beta levels. Stuff like 'Imperial Bounty Hunter' I just pre-ordered so I got a free Eagle but the same LHS3447 start. At least I think it's LHS3447 I haven't been back there since day one.
