There have been some questions lately regarding the difference between the stock FM's and my mod.
The original mod was based on the V2.5 stock FM and when the V2.11 stock FM was released it was a major improvement and did address some of my concerns with the lack of YAW that was in the V2.5 FM. I still felt that the V2.11 stock FM was not quite tweaked enough in the area of rudder and YAW and also I wished to address the force feedback which was too strong and needed to be tamed down a little IMHO.

As a result I released the "WOFF V2.11 FM Mod" to address those concerns. I fully documented the changes and the justifications in the "ReadMe" file included in the mod, but now I thought it might be more effective to produce a video demonstrating the YAW factors.

The video below was done using the FM mod and should make it possible for you all to use the stock FM to compare against it.

In the end, what ever choice you make is in your best interest. I hope the video makes it more clear.

Robert, you convinced me, I'll try it out this weekend. One question, could the Albatros really do a flat turn historically, I thought the DrI was the only plane that could do that?

The DR1 could make a flat turn almost on a pivot. The Alb could do a flat turn but on a very large circumference as you can see in the vid. It is more realistically a rudder only turn which is very wide indeed
