I have 2 watches.

One for every day use (right) and one (left) for when I am going to more formal dinners or business dinners/meetings, etc

Both photos taken with my iPhone, one photo with flash on and one with flash off.

The one with the leather band cost $65. The one with the gold band and fake diamonds costs $127.

I can't see spending a fortune on a watch in the range of 4 to 5 digit price tag just because it's named Rowex or the latest actor to play a British SuperSpy wore it in the movie.

Nothing. Even before I got my first cellphone I barely ever wore a wristwatch.
I just don't care for the way it feels on my wrist.

Have a couple Casio G-Shock solar powered Atomic clock Synced that have
been going for years, they bands die faster then the watches. Bought a
second since one of them got paint splatter on them from spraying a ceiling
with stains with Upshot. Then a band broke. They cost around $90 and and
found bands on amazon for cheap, more like $12 each. Bought a couple just
in case. They are a #%&*$# to replace. Need micro-flathead drivers and super
hard metal drivers to get it done.

Nothing on my wrists, I have my cel phone in my pocket if I want to check the time.

And I don't get the recent fad with people buying very expensive handcrafted swiss watches for thousands of dollars... I guess it's like collecting art, not really functional, but I guess people see the value in the hand made quality, complexity and rarity, like diamonds and jewelry which I also don't really understand.

About every 10 years my wife buys me a watch. First was a Seiko Kinetic when they were the new thing, the last one is a Citizen Ecodrive...hell I don't know how it keeps going. Kinetic or solar maybe? It doesn't have the audible weight in it like the first watch did. Been a long time, must be something in there and it's put up with a lot of banging around since I wear it every day. Due for another in a year or so, we hit 18 years tomorrow. Not to mention someone keeps shrinking the date number on it. I can't even read it most times. LOL

It's been going on for quite a while here. One of my co-worker has plenty of them, each one bigger than the previous.
Last time I asked him if it was a new coffee cup holder...

Apple Watch Sport here. It's neat and I like the functionality it provides, but it is over priced for what it is.

Well, for years I rely on the time on my pager (remember those) and my old cell phone for the time.

But the pager has been long gone (service went bye bye 10 years ago) and the cell phone has gotten bigger now: an iPhone.

It's not convenient to unsnap it from the carrying case on my waist belt to look at the time every so often plus it takes 2 hands to unsnap it.

I wear a 550 paracord survival bracelet.

I haven't had a wristwatch for at least 20 years...can't wear one at work because it could get hung up on something while I'm doing maintenance on the flightline. I have a cheap $12 Walmart belt carabiner watch...and my phone in my pocket. smile

Original Pebble watch (black) and a Mi Band to keep track of both how much I walk and sleep every day. Yeah, gadgets.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Mostly the Speedmaster, but it depends.

I inherited this one from my father, an Omega Constellation from 1963.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

This is the watch I wear all the time. It was a birthday gift from my wife who knows me way too well, heh. Citizen Blue Angles edition of the Skyhawk AT EcoDrive in titanium. I've used it flying, as well as scuba diving. It's a great watch, and the titanium really gives it durability while being lightweight.

Raw Kryptonite, it keeps going because the Eco-Drive system utilizes light and sun to power it. You can have it in total darkness for 6 months and it will still work (it will go into a sleep mode, but will wake up when exposed to light). It's also radio controlled so at 0200L it will access the radio signals coming from Ft Collins, CO telling it what the time is based on the atomic clock. If you are in Europe it does the same thing from signals from Germany, and in Asia the same from signals from Japan. What is creepy is if you look at other Citizen radio controlled watches, they are all in synch. You could totally do a Mission Impossible thing, haha. When we were in Geneve, I also noticed that the famous Flower Clock was in synch with my Citizen. That was pretty creepy.

And, since you asked what was on my wrist I also have:

Studs I got in Zurich, steampunky looking bracelet my friend made. Me likey likey.

I wonder if semmern has done the mandatory "I've got the need, the need for speed" talk while he was walking down the runway before takeoff. biggrin

I don't see the point of wearing a fine watch. It would just get pretty well banged up in my case.
