Is it working (DLC Basra from Graviteam shop) on non-Graviteam version?

Hi Sagal

The DLC from the Graviteam shop works with GamersGate version. I do NOT think it will work with the standalone/DVD version because that is only updated to Version April 2015.

Thanks for link.
I think I will wait for GamersGate to get the DLC as I have purchased my other Graviteam games there and would like to keep them there all in one place.

I you hear of it hosted by GamersGate please let us know.

Digging this DLC. Wish the map where a tad bigger but can't have everything. Totally getting back into sabow. This DLC is not tank bonkers like some of the other campaigns. That is, seems a decent balance between tanks and other stuff. Sure you cant play anything but tanks, but you can boss around your guys. Well if you enable that which I do. Just can not stand the ai ally that kicks off attacks before my tanks can support. Or screws up one of my ambushes. I fared vary badly attempting the Iran campaign with allies on. So doing the Iraq one with allies off, going quite well. But I do take to the T62 more than the M60.

Still not on GamersGate frown

In anticipation that it will turn up at GG soon does the load order make any difference? I presume the DLC can be above or below the latest game update as a purchaser would not know which was latest etc.

Load order should not matter. That is only really important where data gets over written like mods. Someone was saying its on GG now. But I certainly don't see it.

Hi FlashBurn

The DLC from the Graviteam shop works with GamersGate version. It is not available at the GamersGate store at this time.

Regards

+1 waiting for the GamersGate version.

I tried buying it from their website, but their payment provider blows (currently abroad so Paypal payment was blocked for some reason and the credit card authorization also didn't work).

Waiting for the GamersGate version as well, wonder why it is taking so long. I prefer to stick with them as I know what their DRM is like payment methods goods and you can re-download if updated. Plus all my other Graviteam stuff is with them.

Hope they get it soon. Also must be limiting sales as I guess a lot more people are waiting as well.

Still not up at GG as far as I can tell, anyone know why it is taking so long?
Must be costing Graviteam sales.

Cheers MarkL

No idea. There have been problems in past between GG and gravi. Why most DLC's for GTOS are on their slow servers. Maybe some weirdness when UIG sabow switched back to gravi hands? Who knows.

Well I decided to try and purchase from the Graviteam site, man what a rough experience. I too received payment failed messages but kept clicking continue and ended up with an order number and download link. If the link had not been posted here there is no way I would have continued. The whole process was very dodgy and did not act like a legitimate site.

Got the 222MB file (sa_basra86_dlc_int) and added the extension manually (sa_basra86_dlc_int.gt2extension) and it installed OK. I put it in the list above the last patch.

Please get that payment method sorted out. A lot of people may not take the risks I took and continue through error messages.

But all's well that ends well.

Regards MarkL
