Ridiculous how much of a pounding these can take. Yes, will die if I take a broadside from a T54 or Leopard or M60. But they better hope they get a first shot kill!

Hail,

Sadly I do not think I'll be doing anything past BR 6.7, the grind is getting really tedious and right now my Panther G is getting one shot'd in almost every game. I might get 1 or 2 rounds off but between the T34-100 and IS-2 it's a rough night of gaming.

Then you have to deal with guys like this: http://www.twitch.tv/jg1_lipfert/v/15318366

BaronVonzgaming - Name rip off and guy that shoots people then denies it.

S!

You can't friendly-fire anymore. The most you can do is strafe the MG for a few dings, but the main gun will no longer fire when over a blue target.

I'm enjoying BR 6.7 a lot, especially the Panther II. Big gun and fast, but squishy. For some reason, the speed seems to make me a bit cocky and as a result, it dies before it can make a great contribution to the battlefield. Then I bring out my H and P and they just perform beautifully.

Not sure if I want to be using the bigger tanks as that'll just mean I'll be facing more Leopards and Jagdtigers that I can't pen head-on.

Did you watch the clip? The part where my Commander is wounded? He sure was able to shoot me, turn up the sound.

Yep, didn't happen as often in WT as in some other sims where there were no kick-policies but still annoying. I didnt realise they fixed team kills, that's great!

Now, I have a laptop with mouse and touchpad, and it did sometimes happen that my hand brushed the touchpad I fired into a guy in front of me.

I always said sorry. My bad.

I've also been guilty of friendly fire with a quick reaction shot at someone coming through bushes at me, or way off on the horizon in the haze firing back toward our lines. My best ever long distance kill ended up being a TK from one side of Normandy map to the other. Awesome shot, just a damn shame it was my own team! I said sorry, he said 'no worries if was an accident. that was a freak shot.'

It happens. Try to ignore it or get rude about it, you deserve to be shot back!

I'm still getting the hang of the heavies but they require a whole different approach against other heavies. You have to stay in cover, all the time. No dashing around. Never shoot unless you are sure of the kill, or forced to. Never hang around slugging it out with something that might kill you.

Never go on the attack until the field has been whittled down a little. So annoying to take a hit to a loader or a gunner and then sit there getting hammered by weaker Shermans or Tigers.

All that armour and the monster gun makes you feel invulnerable, but if you play like that, you be invulnerably dead.

It's different.

When did this take place? I know you can still "shoot" someone with the main gun by aiming right in front of the target --- basically leading the target. Point is you can no longer point and shoot at a friendly but you can still manufacture "accidents."

Exactly. Shooting at a target across the map going up a road, you need to lead him. But I'm pretty sure in sim mode at least you can still shoot your mates.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Well I got nobbled by a team-mate in an SU from about 100m the other day. 'Sorry, but I got killed by an American tank and was hunting him' was the chat apology.
