Great idea! Nice shot BTW.

Here are a few I saved up. Some are from a few months ago but I don't think I ever posted them.

Very, very nice! Love the dawn/dusk shots in the mountains. Excellent lighting.

Forgot all the awesome Helis this sim has. might need to fire it back up and pick up a chopper or 3 smile

Are there any apps that provide some more 'purpose' to the sim, eg. Air Hauler or FS Economy for FSX?

Awesome screenshots! I've resisted buying this sim for a while, but you got me. Now off to the official website to order my copy. runningdog

Nice pics. What's the latest version of X-plane now? I have a copy I was going to sell but your all's pics make me want to try it again.

Scoobe, have you an external view of pic 2? LOL what's the story behind that one?

Thanks for all the comments!

The latest version now, is 10.40
Its still a release candidate but should become final in a week or two.

Pic #2 was an emergency landing on the Long Island Expressway. I did not open the cowl flaps and engine lost power and quit on me. That was in the Carenado Cessna 182T

Keep in mind, I have a lot of add-ons and tweaks installed in X-plane. Don't expect it to look like this out of the box, However, most of what I'm using is freeware except for the planes. Some of it is recycled FSX scenery too.
If your used to FSX, (As I was), there is a rather long learning curve when trying X-plane. Not much works the same way, so patients are needed. If you don't have patients or like learning a new program, It will just be a source of frustration.

Have not done much with X-Plane for some time. Not since having to help my wife
recover from a stroke. But have been an avid X-Plane user since 1999 with X-Plane
5.52 bought for $99.99 back in the day. Have thousands of screenshots and videos
made over the years. Kinda gave up with work and home taking more and more time.

Here a few shots taken years ago.

Nice pics guys ! Is that the flyJsim 727 ?

I just got into X-Plane and really enjoy it for the great little details such as the night lighting and hdr lighting effects. I really think this is the golden age for X-Plane like FS9 was the golden age for Microsoft sim as X-Plane is still under developement and appears to have a great future.

Yes it is, and Jack is planning on a huge update for it soon.

Here are some shots of the Vflytair Cirrus SR20 for X-plane. I painted this one in the same paint scheme of my brothers SR-20.
A very cool plane. both in real life and in this sim!
