I made it in Adobe Audition (3.0 but any other can be used). original PCM files has properties: sample rate 11025, mono, 8bit unsigned. edited files can be saved as WAV, but there is some format issue that I can't remember.
I couldn't remember either so I dug through my notes (copied from posts here!)... the original raw PCM for speech and other sounds were different:
speech = raw (headerless) PCM, unsigned 8-bit, mono, 11025 sample rate
sounds = raw (headerless) PCM, unsigned 8-bit, mono, 22050 sample rate
But I think these are only relevant when importing the sound because we can use WAV now - the format I think needs to be 16 bit and 22050 sample rate(?) something was said about 48kHz 32-bit 9-channel probably going a bit far.
Found it (and yes I was wrong)...
... [*]Added support of WAV files (mono PCM, 8 and 16 bits, any sane frequency) ...
Which proves how useless my memory is
I think the last time I posted on that subject they were still building the pyramids and I also just found my ISP web space was discontinued about six months ago
