My wife and I just watched the first episode ... and now we fear for our lives!

Narcos

The body count was pretty crazy back in the day ...

Pretty good show. Makes me hate drug dealers even more. Folks with sensitive political views may dislike some of the "side plot" political stuff.

5 episodes in..

I'm a little surprised at how they are portraying Escobar.. Very calm, even keeled business man.. I would have expected more crazy...

Maybe calm crazy is scarier than overtly crazy I guess.

Astounded at the relative ease that cocaine was made and then smuggled into the U.S. Also the vast amount of money which sort of became an burden to the cartels.

A good read on the subject is "Killing Pablo" by Mark Bowden.

Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed Witcher... I'll never know. Something wrong with my face?
