Got some LED deck lights to replace the incandescents that burn out often. I hope these LED lamps are reliable... the old bulbs not only would burn out a lot, but they can also lose contact with the fixture which is really annoying.

These LEDs are cool white -- blue, about $13 for ten. The warm white LEDs are about $24 for six.



You can't see it with the eyes, in the camera the LEDs are pulsing...

Replaced most of the interior bulbs inside all 3 of my cars with LED. talk about
a lighting difference inside a car.

Have also bought some of the LED light strips that you mount under the kitchen
cabinets. Accent lighting and it looks great.

Energy savings alone will out weigh the cost in the long run.

warm LEDs are worth the money IMO. the bright blue/white in most applications is too harsh and looks very industrial.

The main reason people are hesitant to move from incandescents is the colour temperature. Warm white just seems to chime with us humans...
