this is ridicules; they had plenty of time to beta test their driver support for the flight community, and they treat us like this?
wasting their time on there new kung foo fighter stick? when they could of had these drivers out for windows X a year ago, and their excuse was they didn't have time to do it and didn't realize wind X was being released this year. Come on now.

Yes, it is sad. However, I seriously doubt that a petition of any kind will make a difference in the speed at which the drivers become ready.

Petitions don't do diddly, unfortunately. Saitek isn't exactly stellar in any department; they're definitely what I'd consider a budget brand even if some of their stuff's quality doesn't match the price.

I never knew companies were obligated to update software or drivers to work with the latest operating system.

Don't people check that the operating is compatible with the software and hardware they have before updating?

There seems to be a growing sense of entitlement goin on at the moment.

Reminds me of the 'I pirate because companies don't put out demos' or 'I steal flat screen tvs because everyone that works has one so why can't I?'.

Sorry rant tangent there smile

It ought to be the obligation of OS vendors to
ensure their OS upgrades are compatible with
hardware built to run on their previous versions.

Of course, µ$ don't give a damn about that, they
still have the clout to ignore such issues. They'll
be like AutoDesk, they won't start thinking about such
things until they've already irretrievably lost
market share.
